Central Utah Football League (CUFL)
Covid 19 protocol 2020
League Statement
This year has and will continue to be one for the record books. Please stay focused and keep the health and safety of your coaches, players and fans a top priority. Each community will need to follow their own health department rules and regulations as well as their school district policies on how to handle and administrate the Covid 19 process. I have attached several documents in your CUFL Packets that will help with some of these issues.
Here in Salina (North Sevier) we will be keeping a record of our players and coaches each day we practice and play. On this sheet we have several verbal questions we ask and if anyone answers yes to any of them they will be asked to go home and contact their league representative or recreation director for further assistance. Masks will be required by all spectators, in on and around school district facilities statewide. Safety first and foremost. If we all commit to this process, we hopefully continue playing ball this season.
I expect all of us to do the best job possible this year more than ever teaching these kids this wonderful game, sportsmanship and how to be good productive young men and women. Pour sportsmanship on the part of Coaches, Players and Spectators will not be tolerated. We have always had a strong well-functioning league, let’s keep it that way.
Coaches remember this is not the NFL, DO NOT run up the score on your opponents. Remember they are learning and trying their best as well. As you see from year to year the smaller schools continue to struggle with numbers. If pour sportsmanship and bad game play continue the league will defiantly loose communities and teams, lets help each other out and just play football.
Thank you all and good luck in this the craziest of years ever
