April 2021
-Each community must have all their equipment, uniforms and rosters at the time of weigh-ins. Each participant will be weighed-in and have their jersey number recorded.
-Community Reps and Coaches need to control the infield/sideline areas of the field. There should only be players and coaches on the sidelines. Spectators need to be outside the fencing, in the bleachers, or away from the field of play in their own chairs.
-League rules will remain the same as last year. Most current rules say Updated 9/17/2020 and will be updated to say 2021.
-If any new communities would like to join the league. Those discussed were ALA and Canyon View.
Motion made by Brenden Turner, Millard, new teams/communities would need to field three teams (one in each grade), and pay their league fees by May 31st, they can join.
-It is proposed the all teams start practicing with pads on the same date. This year it is July 26th.
-Play-off and Final Host Rotation: Enterprise, South Sevier and Richfield

-Weigh ins are done by the league officials, the same way at each place and a preseason weigh in is sufficient. A weigh in is done before playoffs also.
-The question of 6th grade coaches on the field was discussed. Motion was made to have 6th grade coaches on the field for the first 2 games of the season. The 6th grade play clock will be 40 seconds. Motion Passed
-A motion was made to bring Enterprise into the league. Motion Passed
-Rule change/clarification: Overtime: start at the 10 yard line.
May 2018
-Milford and Wayne will participate in the league this year.
-A concussion policy needs to be adopted by each community.
-The league does not provide insurance for participants or coaches. Each community is responsible to thave insurance or waivers for participants.
-Motion failed to divide teams at 40 participants.
-Motion failed to raise the weight limit 5 lbs in each classification
-Unanimous vote that rule states "a team can only have 5 down linemen and they are the only ones that can rush' - 15 yd penalty
-Wording changed from "recommended" to "must" in the 8 plays per player rule.
May 2017
- 6th Grade will use a TDJ size football, 7th and 8th Grade will use a TDY size football.
- Intentional running up scores will not be tolerated.
- There will be an A and B division in the playoffs.
- Everyone will play every other team during the season.
- If hosting the playoffs and the host city has a team playing they get the home bleachers.
- Removed verbiage from the mercy rule stating the team that is down is allowed to blitz. No team is allowed to blitz if there is a 25 point difference in the score.

--Decison was made to have 2A and 3A split league on a trial basis.
--Motion passed to allow playoff host teams to have their home bleachers.
--Game ball will be the same for all ages.
-Ejection policy (as in High School) will be implemented.
--Wording of the participation rule was changed from from ‘needs to play 8 downs’ to—CUFL recommends that each community encourage coaches to get each player in for 8 plays. Each community is responsible to police this policy.
-Mercy rule blitzing rule workding changed—to read—The team that is behind is allowed to blitz their line backers…..until the 14 point difference and then both teams are back to blitzing.

Brady Edwards will be the President of the CUFL and Andy Reed will be the President-Elect.
Community fees will be $400 with an additional $5 per player over 75 players.
4 (four) officials will be used at league games—5 at championship games if the league has the money.
President-Elect to have a $200 payment from the league if funds are adequate.

Rule change high lights
* Program rep or designated replacement must be at their home games throughout the season.
- New option for a coach to request a “No Contest” game when they feel a team cannot compete and want to work with the other team to design a game where their players can learn with reduced risk of injury. Team requesting will take a 2 loss status.
* Mercy rule when a when a team is ahead by 25 points or more. Currently the clock stops only when directed by the officials.
Only in effect after the first half.
In addition:
- no blitzing allowed from the linebacker and secondary position for either team. 15 yard penalty for infraction.
- Coaches will make a concerted not to runup the score.
-Opposing coaches must communicate with each other about player changes being made.
- if the score is back under the 25 point spread the rules will return to normal game rules.

League fees were reduced to $350.00 per community for the 2012 season.
Community trophies will be awarded for championship teams, trophy for each player on the championship teams and medals for each player on the 2nd place teams.
Wayne joined the league and was added to the schedule.
They only have a 6th and 8th grade team.
A 4 team playoff schedule will be used instead of 6 in 2012.
